科里 博根

科里 has over 20 years of turfgrass management experience while working at local golf courses and operating his own lawn care business. During these years 科里 has worked as an assistant golf course superintendent at Central Valley Golf Course located in Hartford, SD and as a head golf course superintendent at Prairie Green Golf Course here in Sioux Falls, SD. Prairie Green has been rated in the past by Golf Digest as one of the best new affordable courses. It is currently the highest rated public course 在该地区.

He has taught at the post-secondary level for approximately 12 years and holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education. As an instructor 科里 teaches such classes at turf management, pest management, irrigation, and equipment operations and maintenance with in the turf, horticulture and landscape design programs. 他是 also involved with several regional and local organizations such as the Golf Course Superintendents 协会 of America, Sports Turf Managers 协会, South Dakota Golf Course Superintendents 协会 and the South Dakota Nursery and Landscape 协会.

科里 is also an advisor for the Dakota Turf Club/GCSAA student organization here on 校园. Members of this organization have received Thousands of dollars in student scholarships over the years from the previously mentioned industry organizations.

Education: BS, South Dakota State University, PLANET Certified Turfgrass Professional – Cool Season Lawns, Certified Sports Turf Manager – The University of Georgia, and Certified Commercial Chemical Applicator.
